Research Interests:
The focus of my work is on the longitudinal epidemiology of major depresssion. My main goal is to integrate epidemiologic estimates of incidence, recurrence, prevalence, episode duration and mortality into a comprehensive epidemiologic picture. I have expertise in methodological approaches to the analysis of longitudinal data. In addition to analysis methods, I have experience with all aspects of longitudinal and cross-sectional epidemiologic projects including issues related to sampling, measurement and data collection. In the Department of Community Health Sciences, I teach Mdsc647.01, Fundamentals of Epidemiology.
